Boskovic leads 2018 World Champs Dream Team as MVP

Yokohama, Japan, October 20, 2018 – Serbia opposite Tijana Boskovic was named Most Valuable Player of the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship in front of an 11’500-strong crowd on Saturday evening in Yokohama Arena.

"I am happy and honoured to be the MVP of this championship, but without the girls, the coaches, the staff, I really would not be able to make it. This will motivate me more in the future," said Boskovic.
Boskovic scored a total of 26 points in Serbia’s thrilling tie-break win 3-2 (21-25, 25-14, 23-25, 25-19, 15-12), to close off the tournament with a total of 193 points (176 attacks, 11 stuff blocks, eight service winners). The 21-year old posted an efficiency of 53.66 % to help boost Serbia’s campaign for their first-ever World Championship title.
